Class 3M assembly ‘Rome Sweet Rome’…June 2018:
Class 3M treated us to a very funny assembly which summed up everything they had learned through their Roman topic this term. It was hilarious and great fun!
ROMAN DAY MAY 2018:
Year three children were treated to a day of Roman themed activities, a Roman re-enactor, a Roman feast and many other activities! This was the culmination of their Roman history topic for the summer term!
YEAR THREE VISIT TO BARROW LIBRARY MARCH 2018!
Both classes of year three children had the chance to visit Barrow library to listen to some stories and take part in literacy activities. Cathy Fidler from the library kept the children interested and entertained!

Roman Day – May 2017
Year three had a very successful Roman themed day, as part of this term’s history whole school focus. Children made Roman dormice, had a Roman feast, made mosaic, made Roman jewellery, wreaths and weapons and had great fun dressing up! Class 3C started the events with their Roman themed assembly!
Transport Trip – April 2017
Class 3I had the chance to finish off their ‘Transport’ topic with a trip on the Windermere ferry, a journey on the steam railway and a visit to the Lakeland Motor Museum!
The Christmas Mouse …a nativity story narrated by class 3SM – December 2016!
